On this occasion, the King was briefed on the programme, which cost an estimated MAD 11 million. It is initiated by the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs and the Mohammed VI TV of the Qu'ran.

The programme aims to promote the religious discourse and bring it closer to the citizens, and generalise the courses of preaching and orientation in the mosques in rural and urban regions, in order to make citizens aware of their temporal and timeless affairs.

It also seeks to deliver courses of religious preaching and orientation in the mosques in favour of women and the organisation of regular cycles of training and qualification for the employees in the religious field (preachers and Imams).

The programme will be carried out by 2,000 Imams under the aegis of the delegations of the Ministry of Habous and Islamic Affairs.

On this occasion, the Sovereign handed over to several Imams the copies of the book "The love of the Fatherland is part of faith" and the "Guide of the Imam, the preacher".

The Monarch gave the first course of the TV-assisted programme training. It was preceded by a short speech registered by the Minister of Habous and Islamic Affaires, Ahmed Toufiq, in which he stressed that the objective of Commander of the Faithful, through this programme, is to help the word of oulemas and eminent scholars to reach the citizens in mosques, which are the legal place of religious preaching and orientation.
